I’m currently in the dental assistant program and just started the second term. So far, everything has been going great and I’ve really enjoyed my experience. The classes are going well, and I feel like I’m learning a lot. I appreciate the out-of-class assignments because they give me time to learn at my own pace and on my own schedule. It works well with my personal life because I can pick up my laptop anytime to study or get schoolwork done when it fits my schedule. I also like that the course is accelerated, which helps me move forward faster. The teachers have been good and supportive, and overall it’s been a really positive experience. I would recommend this school and any of the programs they offer to anyone looking to learn and build their skills.

All of the staff are amazing! From the time you walk in the front door, they all make you feel so welcome! Isiah is awesome! He makes onboarding a breeze! Tim in Financial Aid is the best! He walks you step by step through all of your financial details. He makes sure that you clearly understand everything that he goes over. He is very thorough and kind. Overall everyone that I have encountered has been extremely helpful and supportive! Ms. Randi and Ms. Julia are awesome instructors! I cannot forget about Ms. Tashonda! I’m the boyfriend of a current student, I had hopes to further my education and add growth to my trade had my interest in the HVAC program and seeing what she’s gone through made me decide not to enroll here. Allow me to describe the nightmare of a school this is.
This school thrives on stress and anxiety while offering almost no real support. Once they take your money, they stop caring—especially about students who genuinely want to learn and succeed. There is zero respect for work-life balance, and burnout is treated as normal.
Save your money and your mental health. Look elsewhere. The staff absolutely does not care about you, they will not listen to you or try to understand you they believe they are superior and assume every student has the same academic proficiency this place is full of corrupt staff. School work balance is important as adults, we have lives to survive. As long as this school is getting its money they could care less of your well being and mental state or the stress they cause you something must be done about these matters. You guys need to re evaluate your teachers and deans!!!!

Northwest Career College has been a wonderful expirience. I had my mock interview with Shonna and she made me feel more confident about my future interviews for externship. I’m currently going back to school after being a stay at home mom since the COVID pandemic. I decided to join Northwest Career College for their phlebotomy program and so far I think this has been my best schooling experience! I’m learning so much, so fast and I love the fact that the program is hands on because I learn best that way. My instructors are amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My experience thus far initially at Northwest Career College was mixed. However, plenty of accommodations were made to help me and my fellow peers feel more successful and secure in our pursuit of our certification and degree. While I would prefer having more than one lecture on a weekly basis, the staff and instructors go above and beyond to help you achieve your goals.

Prior to starting NCC, I visited the campus a few times. All encounters I had, the staff were quite accommodating. I had started school just recently and the educators are welcoming, encouraging and supportive. Due to this experience, I have recruited family and friends to join me on this educational journey. Not only does NCC care about you they are very helpful in anything you may need. Loved how easy it was to enroll and that as soon as you walk into campus you are greeted with a friendly smile. Instructors are also amazing. Love that you can talk to any instructor and they will assist you. Definitely recommend NCC if your interested and or looking to further your education.

When touring the campus, I immediately recognized the school's quality. The faculty showed the hands-on learning opportunities and specialized materials while taking a genuine interest in my professional goals.
Although I was initially hesitant to commit, the school offers a two-week trial period at no cost. This allowed me to experience the coursework and lectures firsthand, and I was very impressed. I have since decided to officially enroll and am eager to see what the future holds!

I really enjoy my experience at NCC! The instructors are knowledgable and very supportive, and i feel like they genuinely care about students success. The classes are engaging and provide opportunities to learn both in theory and in practical ways. One thing i think can be improved is adding more hands on workshops or group activities to help us practice skills in real world scenarios. Overall,NCC has created a positive and motivating environment for learning, and im excited to continue growing here and at last the most important to me as students is that NCC provides so many services for safety nets for students they literally have from resources to a person that will listen if you need someone to talk to every one here cares and treats you like family i love that because i never had that and to know so many people card enough to help you find solutions to a situation they put students over money and to me that makes them the best including how they treat individuals with welcome arms and respect you walk into an office at another school most likely that person is rude to you at NCC they welcome you with love and smiles your family once you step foot on campus no school in the world can top that … LETS GO NCC…

I'll be quite honest, I was nervous at first attending northwest career college.I felt like this would be a fast pace program. Attending the dual program for both CMA and phlobotomy, i felt it would be overwhelming. However, i'm enjoying my time in the class and generally learning at a decent pace. All the instructors are nice, helpful, patient and understanding. The facility is clean and provides you with everything you need. I would suggest this school to anyone who's looking for actual career.

From the beginning to the first day of school , it was a great experience! They answered all of my question and was very patient with me! They are very professional and made my experience and process so easy! Dealing with financial aid was very confusing but they helped me understand and they pretty much did everything for me except apply! I’m so excited to start ! NCC has been very good to me I cannot complain at all. From the instructors to my class mates it has been an amazing experience at NCC I am currently enrolled in Map program that includes Ma and Phlebotomy. So far it has been a great experience the help is right there if you need it! My Instructors are the best they give they all and teach you everything they know and teach you by the book. They are real and caring! NCC I have made my family it feel like home here. My fav instructors so far has been Ms. Jerri (phlebotomy instructor). She is awesome!!And super patient! I absolutely love her!!! Ms. keya (Ma instructor) she is awesome!!! She will definitely teach you what you need to know! Ms. Chris (Ma instructor) she’s super dope ! Ms. Cheryl (Ma instructor) she’s super dope!! They are all super helpful! I feel like I can talk to them about anything and they will try their best to get answers. The front office ladies and gentlemen’s are super nice and welcoming ! I am happy I picked NCc this is my last month here and I am kinda sad but also excited to start my new career!! The staff is really helpful, and friendly. Everything is accessible from the locations to even the necessary info online. I personally would want to make a shout-out to my professor Ms. Stephanie Stevens in the BAA program. She is so encouraging and caring for her students, as well as helpful and insightful. 😭 The only issue I have about the school is our last day of class was Wed. But we have to wait until MAY to walk the stage. We all was so disappointed to hear that. Some people are moving to another state before then. This just is not fair.

⭐ 1 Star - Disappointing Externship Placement and Career Services
Up until the externship, my experience at NCC was great. The instructors are passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about teaching. I truly learned a lot and felt proud to be part of the program.
Unfortunately, the externship experience was the complete opposite. The school prides itself on helping students with placement, but it is clear they do not properly evaluate or monitor the sites. I was placed in a facility where there was no opportunity to apply the skills I learned, no vitals, no patient interaction, and no real medical training. The staff were not trained to guide or teach, and most of my time was spent doing mindless tasks or simply sitting idle.
When I raised my concerns, instead of addressing the issue, career services categorized it as a personal reason. It is disappointing that they cannot tell the difference between a student’s personal issue and a poor site placement. I first asked if I could do another part-time externship to gain more experience and was told no. I then volunteered to find my own site but was told no again because of policy. Policies are meant to ensure accountability, but the school should also know when to be flexible and work with students when the placement clearly is not serving its educational purpose.
To make matters worse, I was told I would still receive an F for trying to seek a more appropriate learning environment. That response was discouraging and unprofessional, especially after investing time, money, and effort into this program.
The externship should have been the highlight of my experience, not the most disappointing part. NCC has incredible instructors who genuinely care, but the career services department needs serious improvement in communication, flexibility, and accountability.

My experience at NCC had been absolutely amazing! I submitted and online request for information on a program and was contacted the next day! I spoke with someone who answered all my questions and made me feel secure in my decision to go back to school! The instructors have been very helpful and have made it clear they truly care for me and my education! Starting with me calling to get info about the school to then being set up on a virtual tour and meet with Isaiah. He was awesome and gave me all the details about the program. Set me up with financial aid with Ms.

I went to henderson location last year. Very nice, and easy to get to. Safe location. Had no issues.
Im currently attending the main campus location. Also very nice. Safe and easy to access. Plenty of parking.

I've had nothing but good experiences here at NCC. Everyone is so kind, understanding and accepting. My teachers are patient. Front staff is always happy to help. They reply fast as a whip as well which I really love. Amazing school. 🙂

Shout out to Angelin! She has created a welcoming environment before I enrolled at NCC! I love the transparency of the school, knowing how many graduates and people who worked after completing the program. (Which was an astounding 100%) She has made the enrolling process a lot smoother and stress free, replying to messages and calls ASAP, answering questions with patience and kindness, as well as guiding me through the forms that needed to be completed. She wasnt in a rush to get me in to "meet quotas" unlike some trade schools in the city, but instead gave me the choice to enroll in my own time and give me the ability to change my program even after two weeks of instruction. This school is highly flexible and WILL support you throughout any adversity that you might face before enrollment and after.

For me, NCC is the best college in Nevada. I've had my best moments at this institution. The professors are excellent people and, above all, dedicated to your improvement. I'm Latina, and although my English has improved a lot, I feel it's still not perfect. They take their time to help me and explain everything step by step. They give me the encouragement and strength I need to keep going. So, Latinas, if you want to study and excel and be someone tomorrow, don't hesitate for a second. NCC is the best place. Don't think twice, just go for it. I assure you, you won't regret it. 🥰

I can’t believe it’s only been a month into the program—time is flying! The teachers make the classes so fun, relaxed, and welcoming. Yes, they throw a lot at you, but they’re right there to support you every step of the way. And it’s not just the instructors—faculty members from all over the department are ready to help and cheer you on. I’m really excited to see what the next five months have in store!

When it came down to looking for a good school for Medical Billing & Coding. I wanted something that would work perfectly with my schedule & personal life. A school not far away from my home and the tuition amount was great! Enrollment was easy and I've been given so much information about the school and program that head started hurting. 😅 Now enrolled and the staff have been so helpful and useful with any questions I have. & everyone is just nice :).

I've been going to the Sahara location for 3 months for pharmacy technician. Everyone has been so helpful and my instructors have been amazing. I've learned so much and am excited for the rest of my terms to learn even more. Getting started was very easy and they even help out with bus passes every term which has been a big help.
I would definitely recommend NCC to those looking into getting back into school.

I had the best experience at this school. I never was the type to like school, but this school is different. I looked forward to going to class every day! I recently passed my NHA exam in medical assisting and phlebotomy! I had the best teachers Ms. Keya Ms. Jen for medical assisting and Ms. Tiffany and Mr. Michael for phlebotomy! Location was on Smoke Ranch! Thank you to all the teachers that taught me so much!!!

I had an amazing Swedish massage with Eric G and I can’t recommend him enough! He was professional, attentive, and made sure I felt completely comfortable throughout the session. Tina Spencer where so many hats at NCC it’s crazy I don’t know how she does it Tina does her job extra well she definitely do her job going over and beyond she has helped me with my résumé and when I say this résumé is so professional it put my résumé to shame it would’ve took me hours to complete my résumé and she revamped it less than 30 minutes I know with this résumé I will definitely have a job soon Tina has been so supportive I remember for graduation any questions that I need to ask Tina was there for me when it came to graduation,career advisor, and much more Tina was there too accommodate and meet my needs joining NCC was the best thing I’ve ever done even though I graduated they’re still there for me. That’s the way family should be. I became a northwest career college family member January 7 and completed walk the stage May 2, the best move I’ve ever done and now I can successfully say I am a certified state state license phlebotomist thank you Tina and thank you Northwest Career College for changing my life

I had the absolute best experience enrolling here. Maria and Jamal have been super helpful whenever I have questions. Quintin was the one that got me enrolled and was super helpful and nice the whole time. My instructors: Ms. Marjorie, Ms.Nikki, And Ms.Sam have been absolutely wonderful and kind. I would give this school 100 stars if I could. From enrollment, to financial aid, to orientation, to the instructors and everyone else I have come in contact with—the level of commitment, professionalism, and dedication these individuals show is absolutely mind-blowing in today’s world.
Honestly, I was someone who didn’t like school, but they have made me want to show up and show out! The excitement as soon as you walk into the building is so inviting. The school onboarding process was so simple and easy. The staff members have been absolutely amazing!! Everyone is so kind and uplifting. The classes are interactive and fun and so are the lessons. I'm in the DAA program and its so much more fun than I ever would have thought. If you are thinking about joining this school, I would highly recommend it!!

Graduated from MAP last year. So far so good, I had a pretty good experience in school. I wish the radiology program actually wanted MAP students like they say. Most MAP students would work 9-5 and they don’t have any sort of night classes so it’s just a contradiction. They really don’t want MAP students😐

Students enrolled in online programs at NCC receive their laptops by mail. All course materials, including digital textbooks, assignments, and other learning resources, are delivered through the college’s learning management system. This streamlined digital access ensures students have everything they need to succeed right at their fingertips.
NCC's online programs consist of live virtual classes, pre-recorded class sessions, or a combination of both, depending on the program of study.
Yes. Live virtual class sessions or live virtual office hours provide students with the chance to engage directly with instructors and classmates. These sessions occur at least once a week and support active participation, questions, and real-time feedback.
Recorded lectures are available on demand, allowing students to study and review course content at their own pace. However, recordings of live virtual sessions are limited to select lessons, so students are strongly encouraged to attend live classes whenever possible for the best learning experience.
